Welcome To CampingHackers!

Welcome to my site! My name is Jeanene Fisher and I have been camping my entire life (well since I was 2 years old)! I have learned a lot over all these years and I want to share with you a lifetime of camping and outdoor skills knowledge. I hope I can pass on some fun and simple hacks to make your camping trips fun and a bit easier, and learn from my mistakes!
I have spent the last 10+ years teaching others how to camp safely and responsibly as an outdoors guide at my home base in Central Florida. Teaching really brings me joy and I am hoping that this online option will as well.

There are so many options for camping these days. Camping gear is available for every budget and type of camping you can come up with. I am going to share with you what works and what does not work so well.

I love camping and some of my favorite places have included tent camping overlooking “the mittens” at Monument Valley, Island camping at Dry Tortugas, Kayak camping on the Suwannee River, Hammock Camping all over, backpack camping, tree-house camping, caravan camping, rv camping and car camping. I have a lot I can share with you!

9 out of 10 people in the outdoors are uninformed about their impacts. That has to change to weep our wild places healthy! Learn more at https://lnt.org/

No matter where or how web camp it is important that Leave No Trace Principles be followed. I have been a LNT Workshop leader for over 10 years. I cannot tell you enough how important it is to learn and put in practice the following of these guidelines!
